Dr. Osama Hussein

Dr. Osama Hussein

MD

Dr. Hussein is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
 
He started his career in medicine as an anesthesiologist servicing multiple communities in the Middle East and Northern Africa before his transition into pediatrics following his residencies at Howard University and George Washington University.
 
Dr. Hussein is a current board member of Autism Delaware and is a committed community member servicing Dover, DE since 2005.
 
Dr. Hussein began his practice in 2015 with a vision to provide high-quality, comprehensive, and compassionate healthcare for all.
 
Dr. Hussein is a committed father of three and in his downtime can be found attending events in the community or fishing.

Dr.Julia Pillsbury

Dr.Julia Pillsbury began her career as an RN in Philadelphia. She later graduated from the Philadelphia College Of osteopathic medicine. She completed her residency at Fitzsimmons Army MedicalCenter in Denver, CO, and served in the Air Force prior to coming to Dover. Dr. Julia Pillsbury has been the owner of CPAM from1991-March 31, 2018.

In March 2020, Melanie started at Kids & Teens Pediatrics as a Nurse Practitioner. She is dedicated to caring for the pediatric population and she wants to make sure that all the children are meeting their developmental milestones if they are not, then she wants to make sure that they are referred to the correct specialty in a timely manner. She enjoys interacting with her pediatric patients and their families by making it a fun visit for them. She forms trusting relationships with all of her patients and their families.
 
Melanie began her studies at Immaculata University in Pennsylvania and graduated in 2003 with a degree in Biology-Chemistry. She worked as a Microbiologist for about 5 years and then decided to go back to school for Nursing. She went to the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ and graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing Degree in August 2009. Then in 2010, she started working as a nurse on the Pediatrics floor at Kent General Bayhealth. She became a certified nurse in Pediatrics in 2014. In 2017, she started in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Wilmington University. She graduated in August 2019. She passed her Family Nurse Practitioner Board in November 2019. She continued working in the Pediatrics Department at Kent General Bayhealth as a Certified Pediatric Nurse until the beginning of March when she started at Kids & Teens Pediatrics. She currently started taking classes in the Doctoral Nursing Program at Wilmington University in May.
 
Licensed by the American Association of Nurse Practitioner as a Family Nurse Practitioner and licensed by the State of Delaware. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. She is certified by the American Heart Association to provide cardiac life support, basic life support, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and she is certified by the American Heart Association to provide advanced pediatric life support (PALS).
 
When Melanie is not working at Kids & Teens Pediatrics, she enjoys doing Jiu Jitsu, yoga, working out, reading, going to the beach, walking her dog Shelby, and spending time with family and friends. She is a blue belt in Jiu Jitsu and she has her pink belt in Women's Empowered Jiu Jitsu.
